About the Palace Theatre
About the Palace Theatre
Seating just 420 and built in 1913, the Palace Theatre is one of the last remaining Bertie Crewe venues. It has been a roller rink and a bingo hall in the past, but in 2005 a multi-million pound restoration project returned the auditorium to its original look and added an extension and studio at the front of the building.
The theatre now hosts a wide variety of musical, dramatic and youth performances throughout the year, in addition to four weeks of pantomime during the Winter season.
